Ápice wins 1 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals in European competitions
Participating for the first time in an international award, the Santa Catarina-based agency Ápice Comunicação has just won 9 trophies at the Lusophone Creativity Awards. The celebrations had already begun on Tuesday, when the international award announced the Shortlist – a selection of agencies and works that reached the grand final. Ápice managed to place 21 works on the Shortlist.
The final result was announced on Thursday night at a ceremony held in Lisbon. Ápice won two silver and two bronze awards with the campaign “Take it easy, life is one” for the client Unimed Criciúma. With the City Hall of Criciúma, the city's centenary campaign earned the agency a gold and a bronze. Finally, the video on social media of Mayor Vaguinho pretending to be a homeless person was awarded two silver and one bronze.
According to Felipe Borges, Head of Planning at Ápice, “we crossed the Atlantic carrying a little bit of each member of the Ápice team and a little bit of each client. We also carried a little bit of Brazil, of Santa Catarina, and of Criciúma. And a lot of hope that well-done work has a place on the best shelves in the world. Today we proved that; daring and dreaming is possible when you're not alone.”

According to Lucas Borges, head of content at Ápice, “we arrived in Lisbon with the goal of reaching the final of the award and placing our clients on the same level as major brands. We leave here certain that we have qualified work to guarantee results for them, backed by some of the biggest advertising campaigns in the world,” says Lucas Borges, head of content at Ápice 360.
