Ápice Comunicação, based in Criciúma, consolidated its strategic and innovative work in the Brazilian political marketing landscape by winning recognition at the CAMP Democracy Awards. Considered the most important in its field in the country, the awards ceremony brought together Brazil's leading political, electoral, institutional, and governmental communication professionals and agencies. The ceremony, which recognized the winners, was held Monday evening (25) in São Paulo.

The campaign of Criciúma's mayor-elect, Vagner Espindola, known as Vaguinho, earned the agency four trophies in the category for cities with up to 200,000 voters, which represents 98% of Brazilian municipalities. The awards were: 3rd place for Best Mayoral Campaign, with "Biggest Electoral Turnaround in Criciúma's History"; 3rd place for Best TV Campaign, with "The Strategic Use of TV to Turn Around the Election"; 3rd place for Best Graphic Design; and 3rd place for Greatest Innovation, with "Cadeirinhas Project."

The result reinforces the team's creativity and strategy in conducting a historic election for the city and the state of Santa Catarina. "Each category won represents much more than an award: it confirms that we were able to transform voters' expectations into clear, human, and effective messages. This recognition strengthens our work in Criciúma and inspires us to continue innovating," said Felipe Borges, Ápice's planning director.
Vaguinho's election was marked by a turnaround at the polls and the development of a close, innovative communication strategy capable of generating identification with the population. "Winning Brazil's biggest political marketing award is the culmination of intense, strategic, and skilled work by a great team. Today, in São Paulo, we showed Brazil that great ideas and great results don't reside solely in our country's largest cities. It's a source of pride that we share with everyone who worked on and contributed to this historic election," said Lucas Borges, the agency's content director. The CAMP Democracy Award is organized by the Associative Club of Political Marketing Professionals and is in its fourth edition. This year, over 9,000 votes were cast, with evaluations conducted by a jury comprised of members and invited experts from across Brazil. With these awards, Ápice Comunicação reinforces its position as a national leader in political marketing, bringing Criciúma to the forefront of key strategic communications discussions in the country.
