Ápice 360°, an advertising agency from Criciúma (SC), received the bronze trophy at the 22nd edition of the Central Outdoor Awards, the biggest national OOH media award, on Wednesday night (20). The ceremony took place at the Renaissance Theater, in São Paulo.

The achievement that marked the agency's night was in the "Classic" category, with the advertising piece "Feira do Livro de Criciúma", developed for Criciúma City Hall and shown by Toro Mídia. The achievement becomes even more notable, as the agency was the only finalist representing the state of Santa Catarina. "We were honored to represent Santa Catarina in a national award. Today's achievement shows that advertising in Santa Catarina has quality, innovation and creativity - regardless of the region of the state. This trophy rewards work done by many hands, where the focus was to dare to attract people’s attention and generate more results for our client”, commented Ápice’s head of Content, Lucas Borges.

According to Ápice's head of Planning, Felipe Borges, the agency's victory is a testament to the team's excellence and ability to create impactful campaigns. "The partnership between Criciúma City Hall, Ápice 360° and suppliers Toro Mídia Outdoor and Day Art, was essential to the success of this campaign. The award is a reflection not only of our differentiated work, but also of the innovative and collaborative vision of our customers and suppliers”, he highlighted.

Use of AI and innovations made the piece stand out in the awards

During the production of the publicity campaign for the 16th edition of the Criciúma Book Fair, different formats were applied to attract the public's attention. In addition to the traditional advertising pieces, a billboard was designed with 3D applications and LED lighting, giving life to a large Portal. The elements of visual identity were invaded by literature and technology, where Artificial Intelligence resources were used to create a castle made up of books, scenery and a large portal. Symbolizing literature, imagination and encouragement to explore new paths through reading.  For the head of Special Projects at Toro Mídia, Rafael Baschirotto, the award recognizes the ability to create and execute projects with the quality level of large centers. “We are managing to bring to Santa Catarina the standard of excellence and innovation found in the largest centers in Brazil. The award from Central do Outdoor confirms and reaffirms our purpose of quality and great projects focused on results for customers", highlighted Baschirotto.
